Simpson offers insulation packages that come in multiple thicknesses that you can add to your metal building purchase.  Whether you need a 6” insulation package to handle the humidity on those warm summer days in or around Portland or Lewiston, you need bundle up in the winter months in Bangor or Bar Harbor, or maybe you just need a 3” insulation package for moderate temperature control, we’ve got you covered.  Our standard insulation has a VR facing that is very similar to TVEK house wrap. It is a white polypropylene scrim kraft facing and has a very superior vapor barrier and perm rating.  The facing is laminated with a flame-retardant adhesive that is reinforced with tri-directional fiberglass/polyester to prevent rips and tears.
